Blogging Guidelines

Effective learning occurs through collaboration and reflection. This class blog allows us to collaborate by sharing our thoughts, opinions and ideas after some consideration and reflection.  The following are guidelines which will help create an ideal environment for learning and sharing and to ensure your privacy.

  • Never post or give out personal information, including full name, email, phone numbers, Skype or chat names.
  • Use proper spelling and grammar in your comments. Check if you are unsure and avoid using abbreviations or text language such as btw, lol, u, r, etc.
  • Don’t plagiarize. Reference other peoples words or ideas.
  • Greet and introduce yourself when joining a discussion thread.
  • Express your ideas. It’s fine to disagree, however, be polite and courteous when commenting.
  • The majority of your ideas should be related to the subject matter.
  • Ending your comment with a question is a good way to maintain the conversation.
  • Sign off comments with your name.
  • Re-read your post for errors and conformity to these blogging guidelines before posting.
